Julie Rowe

Julie-Rowe Julie Rowe spent her formative years on her family's farm in Idaho and is the proud product of Group One Peace Corps volunteer parents.  She received a BA in Theatre Arts from Idaho State University and has been a Teaching Artist throughout her career in various venues including public, private, and Montessori schools, camps, and workshops serving children aged 5 to 18.  Julie worked with Camp Broadway in New York City managing a student outreach program dedicated to enabling students to attend Broadway productions at affordable prices, which brought more than 14,000 students to see such productions as The Iceman Cometh, The Price and Amadeus, and produced a seminar series with cast members from each show with such artists as Kevin Spacey, Tony Danza, Robert Sean Leanord, Tim Piggott-Smith, James Naughton and David Suchet.  While a resident of Nashville, Julie was an Adjunct Professor in the Musical Theatre program at Belmont University, an Education Coordinator at Tennessee Repertory Theatre and Project Manager of the Juvenile Justice Theatre Workshop for at-risk teenagers.  Most recently, Julie served as the Director of Education at American Stage Theatre Company in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she grew Education Department programming 300% to serve schools, students, at-risk youth, the disabled, the incarcerated, and those in Hospice care.  In 2005, Julie received the Professional Achievement Award for Arts and Humanities from the College of Arts and Sciences from her alma mater, ISU, and is a recipient of the 2005 United Way Tampa Bay Volunteer of the Year Award.  She is a Nashville and Tampa Bay award-winning actress, a member of AEA and AFTRA, the Managing Director of Economic Stimulus Productions, and Vice President of the Board of Trustees for Suncoast AIDS Theatre Project.  Julie is very excited to be a part of the Maltz Jupiter family.
 

Brian Andrews

Brian-Andrews Brian Andrews performed in two of Broadway's longest running shows:  Cats and A Chorus Line.  Early training included the Harkness School of Ballet in NYC.  Continuing education with the Cecchetti Council of America, Mr. Andrews is a certified licentiate instructor in the Cecchetti method of classical ballet, and currently serves as chairman of the Florida committee.
 

Jay Johnson

Jay Johnson is originally from Chicago, where he enjoyed a successful 14-year career as a professional actor featured in roles that included Cosmo Brown in Singin' in the Rain, Phaedra in La Cage Aux Folles, Max in Lend Me A Tenor, Young Damsel in Diva Diaries, Will Parker in Oklahoma!, and many more. Staying involved in theatre, Jay moved to New York and joined one of New York's top marketing agencies, where he represented several hit Broadway and Off-Broadway shows such as The Glass Menagerie, Monty Python's Spamalot, Chicago, Altar Boyz and The Phantom of the Opera.  Jay made his Maltz Jupiter Theatre debut in last season's production of Evita and, using his years of tap experience, will be seen this spring in Anything Goes.

 

Anna McNeely

AnnaMcNeelyAnna McNeely, voice and drama instructor, is a 20-year veteran of Broadway.

Her Broadway debut was in Little Johnny Jones with Donny Osmond. She experienced her first long Broadway run in Cats, in which she originated the role of Jennyanydotts staying with the New York Company for almost seven  years. From there she moved directly to "Miss Electra" in Gypsy, starring Tyne Daly. Anna reprised the role of "Miss Electra" in the movie that starred Bette Midler.

Her next Broadway venture was in Disney's original Broadway hit Beauty and the Beast. She performed on the New York stage for nine years. Besides all her accomplishments on stage, for 30 years, Anna has worked with some of the best directors, choreographers and musical directors.

Anna received a B.A. degree in Music from McKendree University in Illinois.

At the Maltz Jupiter Theatre she has performed in The Boyfriend and La Cage aux Folles.

 

Viky Andreatta Smith

Viki-SmithViky Andreatta Smith was born and raised in South Africa.  She is trained in many different forms of dance ranging from Ballet to Jazz and Modern to Hip Hop.  Her training involved the Royal Academy of Dance: Elementary to Advanced with Honors as well as Cecchetti.  She danced professionally in South Africa with Ballet Theatre Afrikan, South African Ballet Theater.  In the USA, Viky has performed with various companies and her repertoire includes King Lear, Giselle, The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland and many more.  Viky loves to share her passion and knowledge for dance and what it brought to her life.
 

Kerry Rocks

Kerry-RocksKerry Rocks graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University in Music and Vocal Performance.  She has performed under the direction of Renata Scotto, Anton Guadagno, Eva Queler, Bruno Aprea and Julius Rudel in such productions as Otello, Don Giovanni, La Boheme, Turandot, La Traviata, Madama Butterfly, Aida, The Magic Flute, Tosca, Lucia di Lammermoor, The Merry Widow and more.  Kerry performs with Palm Beach Opera.
 

Lea Roy

LEAROY2Lea Roy was born in Buenos Aires, but grew up in Miami Beach.  She graduated from Florida State University, with a double major in Creative Writing and Theatre.  Her original play, Liberty as a Man, was produced by FSU's Student Theatre Association last April.  She also co-wrote and starred in an original Social Issues Project with FSU Directing Graduate students.  Lea spent the summer of 2009 in St. Petersburg, Florida, as a teaching artist for American Stage Company's Theatre Summer Camp. Lea continues writing plays and is excited about teaching theatre.
 

Kristine Tempel

Kristine-TempleKristine Tempel established the 'South Florida Outreach' for after school programs throughout Palm Beach County.  She is a grant recipient for theatre-art in residency for the Saratoga Arts Council, in NY and a recipient of a South Florida Writers and Entertainment Association Grant.  She has been with the Maltz Jupiter Theatre as an Acting Instructor for Page to Stage community outreach in Title 1 schools and summer conservatory.  Kristine has taught at the Saratoga Independent School as a theatre instructor for its outreach classes and summer camp and recently taught drama, speech and debate teacher to middle school students at The Benjamin School, and   led two main stage productions and directed the summer camp.
 

Lauren Westcott

Lauren_WestcottLauren Westcott graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor's degree in Theatre. While at FSU, she appeared in five independent films, and appeared in a variety of stage productions, including Anything Goes, Free Women and Bye Bye Birdie, and stage-managed others. In addition to teaching Jazz Dance at COPA, Lauren has worked in the theatre's Marketing Department as marketing assistant.
