Transform Lives
Quality live theatre is compelling, entertaining and inspiring. At the Maltz Jupiter Theatre we create a unique art form, originating one-of-a-kind productions specifically for our stage in Jupiter. In order to continue with this success, we need you and the community to continue to embrace and support us. We need to balance our budget and raise $200,000 by the end of our fiscal year June 30, 2008.
Ticket sales account for only 50 percent of our annual budget. We, therefore, must rely upon donor support for the additional funds to bring you outstanding productions. Since the Maltz Theatre is a not-for-profit organization, any contribution that you make will be tax-deductible. Your donation will be a gift to our cultural community, as well as to the Theatre.
Below is a link to a donor form for our Fifth Anniversary Season’s Annual Fund drive. This drive continues until June 30, 2008. Please be as generous as you possibly can this year. With your support, we can continue to make you proud of this great institution for years to come.
Here are some of our recent achievements:
• We received twenty-one (21) prestigious Carbonell Nominations, 11 for The Boyfriend and 10 for Man of La Mancha - Click HERE for the press release
• We were awarded grants totaling over $175,000 by the Palm Beach County Cultural Council, The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, and others.
• The Conservatory of Performing Arts (COPA) was completed in September 2007 by renovating an existing storage area of the Theatre. We just enjoyed the student’s performance and awards ceremony on March 3, 2008.
• Sold out performances and a growing subscription base continues.

Peggy and Rick Katz made a $50,000 matching gift challenge pledge to use toward the educational expansion. We raised total cost needed to elevate the program to a conservatory level. We remodeled the downstairs storage space into a self-contained school with separate rooms for acting, dance and voice instruction.
Named Award Program
Major donors to the educational program at the $25,000 level and above have named awards that students will strive to earn each year.
* O'Hagan Family Award for Outstanding Improvement
* Maltz Jupiter Theatre Guild Award for Outstanding Improvement
* Katz Award for Outstanding Achievement in All Three Disciplines: Dance, Voice and Acting
S. Harold Silvers Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund
In memory of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre's Board Member, Hal Silvers, a Scholarship Endowment Fund was formed to honor his life. The Endowment Fund has grown to over $10,000 and each year a scholarship will be awarded to a deserving student from the interest earned on this Endowment. Thank you to all who have contributed. If you would like to make a donation, you may do so at any time through Tricia Trimble in the development office.
