The Maltz Jupiter Theatre Announces
2008/2009 Limited Engagement Lineup!

- July 18, 2008 –Andrew Kato, the
Maltz Jupiter Theatre Artistic Director, and Tricia
Trimble, Managing Director announce the 2008/2009 limited
engagement lineup including three pop orchestra selections, three children
performances and three Doo Wop series!
“We are excited to once again present our eclectic group of limited
engagements placed throughout the season including a few returning favorites
and new impressive one-night events,” says Kato, “In addition to a full season
of five self-produced productions, the Theatre adds these additional
engagements so we can continue to present something for everyone.”
This year’s limited engagements will include a diverse selection of shows
ranging from the Kids Korner Series to the Comedy Series.The season starts off with the Doo Wop Series
presenting Johnny Maestro & The
Brooklyn Bridge on Friday, October 24th revisiting hits such as
“Sixteen Candles.”
In an effort to provide programming for our young theatre-goers, the Kids
Korner Series will present Sleeping Beauty, The
Velveteen Rabbit and The Three Little Pigs sponsored by
Chick-fil-A at the Gardens Mall.These
three classic story-book productions are ideal for children ages 5- 12 years of
age.
Join the Theatre in December with the New
Gardens Band – “Home for the Holidays”
and the “Doo Wop Holiday Bop”.Celebrate New Year’s Eve with the political satire of Capitol Steps, a sold-out event for the
last four seasons.Next, you will be laughing out-loud to the all
new comedy of Robert Dubac in The Male Intellect: The 2nd
Coming!
Don’t miss the solo piano concert by George
Winston on Monday, February 9th, sponsored by the Ritz Carlton
Club & Spa.Back by popular demand
for two nights, the dynamic Irish trio, Celtic
Tenors, will thrill audiences with a mix of classical, traditional and pop
compositions on Sunday and Monday, February 15th and 16th.The Indian
River Pops Orchestra will join us again for themed evenings including
“Movie Madness” and “Tribute to Broadway.”
Additionally, single tickets for
all season plays, musicals and limited engagements will be on sale to the
public August 8th, 2008 at
