"A Knight To Remember" 

Chairs Kathleen Savarese and Marie Tanabe Announced 

Jupiter, FL (December 20, 2006) - The Maltz Jupiter Theatre's Fourth Annual Gala, "A Knight to Remember," will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2007.

Chaired by Kathleen Savarese and Marie Tanabe, the gala's purpose is twofold; to celebrate the visionaries who saw beauty and possibilities in what has now become the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. And to also raise funds to help reach the theatre's fundraising goal of $500,000 dollars towards a matching grant they were honored to receive.

The event will be held at the exclusive Country Club at Mirasol in Palm Beach Gardens and will offer live entertainment courtesy of Street Talk Orchestra, a royal feast, and dancing galore.

Honorary Chairmen of the evening are Sir Berton E. Korman and the late Sir S. Harold Silvers. This year's Royalty VIP sponsor is Jane F. Napier. The Platinum Nobility sponsors are Mr. & Mrs. Berton E. Korman, Kathy and Joe Savarese of Homecare America, and D'Vera and Robert Topol. Roe Green and Muriel and Ralph Saltzman are this year's Gold Don Quixote sponsors. "A Knight to Remember" will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2007 at the Country Club at Mirasol in Palm Beach Gardens. Tickets are $350 and $2800 per table of 8. The Maltz Jupiter Theatre opened in February 2004 as a 550-seat, nonprofit community-based regional theater in the former Burt Reynolds Dinner Theatre. The theater is a member of the prestigious League of Resident Theatres. The Maltz Jupiter Theatre is located at 1001 E. Indiantown Road and State Road A1A.

Saturday, December 9 - The Chick-fil-A at the Gardens Mall Kids Korner Series presents Santa's Holiday Revue: A fast-paced, rollicking musical that takes a joyous around the world tour of the dances, songs and stories from Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and many more holidays. Showtime is at 10 am. Tickets are $12.                       

Monday, December 11 - Winter Wonderland featuring The New Gardens Band.

Musical Director Owen Seward leads the band through the greatest holiday music of all time. Showtime is at 7pm.  Tickets are $25 or $60 as part of the orchestra series.

A Christmas Story - December 19-December 30

The hit cult movie of the same name comes to the stage! Join Ralphie in his quest for the "Holy Grail of all Christmas presents" - a genuine Red Ryder 200 Shot Carbine Action Air Rifle. Along the way, experience his childhood, from coveting his father's "major award" to staring down the dreaded Scut Farkus in this funny and sweet tale of growing up in the 1940's. Showtimes are 2 pm Wed, Sat and Sun, 7:30 pm Tuesday through Friday, and 8 pm on Saturday. Single ticket prices range from $27 to $45.            

Sunday, December 31 - Capitol Steps - A New Year's Eve Celebration

The only group in America that attempts to be funnier than the Congress. This political satire comedy troupe returns to the Maltz by popular demand for two shows. Tickets are $35 for 5 pm show, $45 for 8 pm show.

Deathtrap - January 9- January 21
"The trap is set...for a wickedly funny who'll-do-it."  Broadway's longest-running mystery is a classic pulse-pounding thriller with devilishly wicked characters and multiple twists.  The plot thickens as a once famed playwright, now living on his laurels and his wife's money, is sent a more-than-promising manuscript from an aspiring playwright.  Showtimes are 2 pm Wed, Sat, and Sun, 7:30 pm Tuesday through Friday, and 8 pm on Saturday.  Single ticket prices range from $27 to $45.

Sunday, January 14 - Jeffrey Wands.  The Eccentric Theatre Series
Are you a believer or a skeptic?  Spend the evening with this highly regarded professional psychic and intuitive as he wows audience members with his extra-sensory abilities. Showtime 8pm. All tickets $20.

Friday, January 26 - James Naughton. Tony Award Winners Series        

This two-time Tony Award winner for his roles in "City of Angels" and the razzle-dazzle attorney in "Chicago," will seduce you with his laid-back style and sexy baritone vocals. Showtime is 8 pm. Tickets are $45 for orchestra or $37 for mezzanine.           

Saturday, January 27 - The Chick-fil-A at the Gardens Mall Kids Korner Series presents Jack & The Beanstalk. Magic beans, a singing harp, a dancing cow and a beanstalk that stretches into a giant unknown world are characters in a story that has long delighted youngsters. Backed by a musical score that twists and turns, this show will get you out of your seat and cheering Jack to victory. Showtime is 10 am. Tickets are $12.

Saturday, January 27 - Late Nite Catechism 2

Even funnier than the original, Sister conducts her religion class into convulsions of laughter when she returns for Late Nite Catechism 2. Catholics and non-Catholics alike will be entertained as she works toward her goal of getting into heaven with the audiences help! Showtime is 8pm.  All tickets are $35.

Sunday, January 28 - Movie, Music and Magic! Indian River Pops Orchestra

Sit back, relax and enjoy soundtracks from Hollywood movie classics.  "From West Side Story" to "Star Wars" to "Gone With the Wind".  Let the music transport you to another time and place.  Showtime is 7 pm. Tickets are $ 25 or $60 as part of the orchestra series.

Friday, February 2 - Defending the Caveman

The longest running solo play in Broadway history, this hit one-person show comically and affectionately explores the differences between men and women causing both sexes to roar with laughter and recognition. Showtime is 8pm. All Tickets $32.

An Evening with Mark Twain starring Michael Mauldin

Man of La Mancha - February 13-February 25
One of the most beloved American musicals of the 20th century, Man of La Mancha will be sure to enchant audiences of all ages.  This Broadway classic follows the romantic and noble journey of a knight's quest to right all wrongs and win the heart of a good woman as he dreams The Impossible Dream. Sunday, February 25 - Tom DeLuca. The Eccentric Theatre Series
One of the hippest hypnosis shows in the country, Deluca forgoes the gimmickry to reveal the fun and wonder of the mind.  Enjoy an evening of spellbinding entertainment as audience members demonstrate the power of hypnosis. Showtime is 8pm. All tickets $20.

Monday, February 26 - Tierney Sutton.  Jazzin' Jupiter Series

Grammy nominated Tierney Sutton is one of the critics most talked about jazz musicians and in 2005 she won Jazz Week's Vocalist of the Year Award. Tierney's beauty, wit and technically superior voice have delighted the crowds and impressed even the most critical musicians. Showtime is 8 pm.  All tickets are $35.

Tuesday, March 6 and March 7 - Say Goodnight Gracie

The life, love and laughter of George Burns in the hit Broadway play, tells the poignant love story of the world's most famous radio couple. Showtimes are Tuesday 8 pm and Wed 2pm and 8pm.  Tickets for the matinee are $27.  Evening performances are $42 orchestra and $34 mezzanine.           

Friday March 9-March 10- Barbara Cook.  Tony Award Winners Series

This musical theatre legend is both a Tony and a Grammy winner! She created unforgettable roles in "She Loves Me", "Carousel" and "Music Man",  Barbara's silvery soprano, purity of tone and warm presence has delighted audiences around the world for more than 50 years. Showtime is 8 pm.  Tickets $60.  Special Meet-the-Artist Package $90.

Monday, March 12- John Pizzarelli Quartet.  Jazzin' Jupiter Series

Back by popular demand, Pizzarelli is among the prime revivalists of the great American songbook, bringing to his work the cool jazz flavor of his brilliant guitar playing and unique vocals. Showtime is at 8 pm.  Tickets are $48 for orchestra and $38 for mezzanine. 

2 Pianos 4 Hands - March 20- April 1
This off- Broadway hit is a "dramatic gem" that explores the universal plight of all those with an ounce of training and talent - the will and the dream to "be" a professional musician.  This "funny, clever and insightful" two actor tour de force is filled with "many musical classics ranging from ‘Chopsticks' to works by Bach and Beethoven with some Billy Joel and Jerry Lee Lewis thrown in for good measure." Sunday, March 25 - Todd Robbins' "Carnival Knowledge". The Eccentric Series

Monday, March 26- Carol Channing. Tony Award Winner Series

With two smashing successes on Broadway: as Lorelei in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and the title role in Hello, Dolly!, Channing's signature song, "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend", distinctive wide-eyes, husky voice, animated persona and three Tony Awards has made her one of Broadway's leading ladies. Sunday, April 1 - The Art of Juggling, a Mesmerizing Journey starring Michael Moschen

Incorporating the rich beauty of art and science, Michael Moschen, has added unique audience participation to a show of creative, fantastic and impossible feats of manipulation and illusion. Showtime is at 8 pm.  Tickets are $30 orchestra and $25 mezzanine.

Saturday, April 21- Roger McGuinn

Back by popular demand, the front man and founder of the Byrds is famous for such hits as "Turn, Turn, Turn," "Eight Miles High" and "Mr. Tambourine Man." Showtime is 8pm.  Tickets are $30 for orchestra or $25 for mezzanine.

Sunday, April 22- Give My Regards to Broadway - Indian River Pops Orchestra

This sixty piece orchestra romps through an amazing journey of some of the best loved Broadway show tunes including Rodgers & Hammerstein, Lerner & Lowe, Irving Berlin and more. Showtime is 7 pm. Tickets are $ 25 or $60 as part of the orchestra series.
