A Taste of The Maltz

(Jupiter, FL.) October 24, 2006 - The Maltz Jupiter Theatre will open its doors to the community for a free "Taste of the Maltz" on Monday, November 13 from 4 to 7 pm.

This first time event will give everyone the opportunity to see all of the changes the theatre has undergone in the past four years, including the addition of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre Institute, remodeled lobby and bar, new rehearsal space and the new Gallery Hall, which will feature local and nationally known artists throughout the year.

Activities at the "Taste" include opportunities to "pick your seat" for season subscriptions and one night events, contests to win tickets to upcoming shows, meet and greet opportunities with the theatre staff and an exclusive behind the scenes tour of the entire facility - including back stage! Complimentary food and beverages will be provided by the Maltz preferred restaurants and food sponsors: Blue Fire Grille, Cakeability, Chick-fil-A at the Gardens Mall, Max's Grille, Portobello Cucina Italiana, Quarterdeck Seafood Bar and Sinclair's Ocean Grill.

"Although we have nearly five thousand subscribers, there are still people who do not know what this theatre is all about and the changes that have taken place. But this will give the public a fun, no-risk way to sample not only the theatre but also our new specialty drinks, the Jupiter, Juno and Tequesta and food from some of the finest restaurants in the area." said Peter Croken Executive Director. "And Andrew Kato, our Artistic Director, will take visitors behind the scenes of production planning."

The Maltz Jupiter Theatre opened in February 2004 as a 550-seat, nonprofit community-based regional theater in the former Burt Reynolds Dinner Theatre. The theater is a member of the prestigious League of Resident Theatres. The Maltz Jupiter Theatre is located at 1001 Indiantown Road and State Road A1A in Jupiter
