Winners Get Cash; Theatre Audience Picks the Winners

Jupiter, FL (July 17, 2006)- The Maltz Jupiter Theatre Guild has begun on of the largest talent searches in Palm Beach County, the all new Palm Beach Idol.  This talent show extravaganza will take place on Saturday, July 28 at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. Auditions for the show were held in June, with hundreds showing up to audition.

Talented individuals of all ages will take the stage performing everything from piano, singing, dancing, juggling and more.  And just to make it rewarding for these courageous and entertaining individuals the winner of each category will win $250 in cash! The audience also gets to get involved - as they will chose the winners. The three age categories are:  youngsters, ages 3 to 12; Teens, ages 13-19; and Adults, 20 years and over.

The Maltz Jupiter Theatre Guild, is a not-for-profit fund raising arm for the Children's Institute Endowment Fund at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. The endowment fund is a trust to provide in perpetuity opportunities for community youth and young adults to participate in the institutes programs. Funds for the Children's Institute are raised through various fundraising events throughout the year.
