LOCAL CHORUS CELEBRATES 10 YEARS WITH 2-SHOW SEASON FINALE

Boynton Beach, Florida, January 26, 2007 - Experience for yourself the 10^th anniversary season of the award-winning Women of Note, the Palm Beaches finest women's a cappella chorus.  This March, the Women of Note Chorus will complete its 2006-2007 Concert Season with The Sounds of Spring, two fabulous shows celebrating 10 years of superb four-part, a cappella harmony.

On Saturday, March 10^th, the chorus will be performing at Boynton Beach Community High School, with special guests, Bling!, regional women's barbershop quartet and BBCHS's acclaimed Dimensional Harmony Chorus.  Sunday, March 11^th, a repeat performance will be produced at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, where special guests include Pizzazz, Palm Beach Gardens High School award-winning choral group and an encore performance by Bling! 

Under the direction of Master Director, Holly St. John, the Women of Note have been entertaining South Florida audiences with a mix of old favorites and contemporary selections since 1997.  They perform at meetings, social functions, parties, banquets and fundraisers for a wide variety of organizations.  Their music is enjoyed by audiences of all ages!

The non-profit Women of Note Chorus, a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, is dedicated to the advancement of this unique American art form of barbershop harmony through education and performance.  Every year since its inception, the chorus has placed in the top five in regional competitions, placing first in their division an unparalleled 5 times.  In addition, the Women of Note have the proud distinction of winning first place in the small chorus category in the international competition, Harmony Classic, adding 2005 World's Best Small Chorus to its long list of accomplishments.

This is your last chance this season to catch the outstanding four-part, a cappella harmony, innovative choreography and dazzling costumes of the Women of Note and their fabulous guests.  Saturday, March 10^th, at Boynton Beach Community High School and a repeat performance at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre on Sunday, March 11^th.
